My first post, well no pressure there huh? Whatever I choose to write
here will be the first thing anyone sees. I thought this blog thing
sounded like a great idea, I was just over flowing with ideas to write
about the other day. But setting this whole thing up can kinda drained
the creativity right out of me. I must have spent hours working on the
name of this blog and then finding a picture well took me into day 2.
And that was just to find a picture of a lime green brick road I liked,
It may be a while before I decide on a picture of myself. Just not sure
I am ready to put myself out there, in bad lighting on a bad hair day
when I could not find a lick of time to put make-up on. These days are
the only time anyone around seems to have a camera. Really I know there
are days when I have the perfect outfit and my hair is happy, where are
the cameras then?
So all I can really tell you is in this blog you will find a family
that loves, fights, cries, fails, and succeeds. We are artist and handy
so there will be lots of crafty stuff. We home school so there will be
some of that as well. One of my goals for this year is to come up with
a meal plan that our family can stick too! I admit I love this idea but
my family is crazy, my kids just don’t eat the stuff they cook on TV
and my husband LOVES to eat so handing him a bowl of pasta just won’t
cut it around here. I hope to find a way to make meals that will
satisfy everyone in the family and maybe this will help others with
picky kids and a hungry husband!
Truthfully there is no way to pin point a path for this blog because
this family travels a different brick road, we chose the bright lime
green one, which may not be for everyone but it seems to be right for
us!
