We are a homeschooling hot mess! It is a new year and I am bound and determined to clean this house! Ok not clean, organize and if I see one more organized house online with 6 matching coffee cups in the cupboard and perfectly folded matching sheets in the linen closet I am going to scream! This is not real life people and if it is then I need to be committed to a mental institution.
I have mail all over the breakfast counter, this is thanks to my husbands business and all the crap they send, plus the bills. I also have drawers with random jewelry, pens, small toys, anything that ends up on the counter so I just open the drawer and scoop it in when the door bell rings. I tried wearing make up but I barely have time to put it on so putting it away is a big NO!
Now I will say my house is clean, most of the time. I have learned that when things have a home it helps and I know I need to slow down. But hey I teach a 7th grader and a 2nd grader in my home, cook 3 meals a day (and even my 2 dishwashers can not keep up with that) plus on top of all of the normal day to day stuff, our house is the place all of the family has their get togethers and with my husbands family that is a lot of parties!
